Dubrovnik City Tour - Take a walk along cobbled streets in company of a professional guide whilst discovering treasures of Dubrovnik’s past and present. Put your hands on its ancient walls and let the distant presence of people who had lived there centuries ago come close and touch you. A half day tour that will leave you mesmerized by architectural treasures, artistic intensity and cultural opulence – a day that will most certainly become one of your favourite holiday experiences ever.
Cilipi Folklore - Let us greet you with a traditional “warm” welcome (grappa and figs) as you step into the village of Cilipi. Sunday market set with silk embroidery, handicrafts and souvenirs, church bells calling for the mass, locals dressed in their Sunday best slowly heading to the church… just part of the scene full of village ritual and serenity. A joyful celebration of life takes place in the church square after the mass. Dressed in dark skirts / trousers with crispy white starched shirts, red belts embroidered in gold silk, bright red leather shoes and matching read caps, locals perform songs and dances form the village and the region. A chance to browse the market for some authentic local souvenirs and enjoy rhythms of Dalmatian music.
Elaphiti Islands - Soak up the sunshine and gentle breezes as the boat lazily cuts through peaceful waters heading to a world almost forgotten. The Elaphite Islands are a green oasis of scented citrus plantations, pine clad hills, sandy beaches and palm trees. As you stroll the promenade it will appear that life on the islands has been in slow motion for a long time with man fishing and chatting in cafeterias or playing cards whilst ladies sitting on the porch and doing their fine needle work or simply spreading delicious aroma of home cooking through windows covered in lace curtains. Many legends and stories of former island’s fame will be revealed toyou – stories of coral divers, ship builders and sea captains that will wake up these dreamy islands for you if only for a day.
Korcula & Peljesac - The island of Korcula, without doubt, is a special island on the Croatian Adriatic. As famous stonemasons, shipbuilders and sailors, people of Korcula left traces worldwide but the best things they have left for their city. Enjoy the narrow streets, beautiful churches and palaces, in one of the most beautiful cities on the Mediterranean. After the tour, pick out a delicious restaurant or just go swimming. On the way back to Dubrovnik visit the famous wine cellar of Peljesac and enjoy the opportunity to taste wine typical for this region!
Mostar Day Trip - An exhilarating journey where East meets west and full of contrasts – rugged coastal area which gradually melts into fertile greens of the Neretva River Valley full of scented citrus fruit and kiwi plantations. On arrival to Bosnia and Herzegovina a brief visit to Pocitelj will remind you of 4 1/2 centuries of Eastern cultural influence in these territories. The most memorable part of the trip is visit to Mostar itself, also known as the “melting pot of cultures”. Predominantly influenced by centuries’ long Turkish rule, tall, slim minarets reaching for the sky, cobbled bazaar street with rhythmic tapping of hammers against copper plates as they are being transformed into pretty souvenirs, houses with ornate wooden balconies will all remind you of times gone by.
Montenegro Day Trip - Join a trip along ever-changing South Adriatic coast to a tiny country of Montenegro - a county of great natural beauty, immense cultural heritage. Admire the scenery of the only Montenegrin fjord – a Nordic look alike: graywhite mountains enveloping the fjord with miniature islands dotted along mirror-like water in the bay. A stop in Perast to visit the small island of Our Lady of Škpjela and the church built in XVII century. The church is famous for 68 frescos painted by the best master of the Baroque fresco painter of this time - Tripo Kokolja. Visit the ancient town of Kotor – the pearl of the medieval Mediterranean, which is presented in its full beauty. On the way back to Dubrovnik, see the Boka Bay when the coach goes on the ferry across its narrowest point for a 15-minute ride.
Scenic Konavle Train Ride & Wine Tasting - Experience the traditional spirit and genuine village atmosphere on this distinctive excursion taking you on a tourist train ride through vineyards in Konavle! After paying a visit to the first wine cellar, absorb the charm of this region by riding on a tourist train through its rich vineyards. Past customs are on displayed in the village of Ljuta where you first visit a mill to see how flour was once produced, and a traditional wool processor. Relish in some of the best wines from this part of Croatia when you visit three more wine cellars/vineyards. Enjoy a final ride on the tourist train through picturesque vineyards, the perfect finish to this fabulous adventure of exploring the traditions of Konavle.
