The first Ikos Resort in Crete, Ikos Kissamos, will be opening for summer 2026. The fabulous Ikos Kissamos is opening 30th April 2026 for the very first time.

Where do I fly to for the Ikos Kissamos? Heraklion or Chania Airports in Crete? Ikos Kissamos is 55kms to the west from Chania Airport, with transfer times of just under an hour. Ikos Kissamos is approx 175kms from Heraklion Airport, with a transfer time of about 2.5-3 hours. Obviously, fly to Chania Airport if you can. Unless you want a comprehensive tour of the north coast of Crete. The drive is stunning, we have done it!

The new Ikos Kissamos is part of the ongoing Ikos expansion that includes 4 new properties in Greece, Spain & Portugal. This means that Ikos is bringing the ‘Infinite Lifestyle’ to The Algarve in Portugal. Stay tuned for more details and special offers on the brand new Ikos Cortesia which is due to open for the very first time in summer 2027/8 with 448 rooms, suites, bungalows and villas.
This will be followed by a second property in Marbella, Spain, the Ikos Pinomar, with a date still to be selected in summer 2027/8. Ikos Resorts will open another new property on the Iberian Peninsula after the incredible Ikos Andalusia on the mainland of Spain, near Marbella. After a €17 million investment, Ikos Andalusia has also made some exciting additions which include 3-4 bedroom villas, the largest accommodation units across all Ikos properties.
