Abbazia Collemedio Location & Surroundings
Set in the small town of Collepepe on a hill overlooking the countryside, Abbazia dei Collemedio is a unique hotel which was once a Franciscan monastery. Set in a 13th-century abbey, Abbazia dei Collemedio is a deluxe property in the hilltop village of Collepepe, between Perugia and Todi, which are both less than 30 minutes’ drive away. Lonely Planet describes Perugia as “Umbria’s petite and immediately likeable capital”, while Rough Guides says few places can beat Todi for “sheer location” and “fairy-tale medievalism”.

Torgiano, a 15-minute drive away, is known for its olive oil and wines.

Every area of the hotel is rich in heritage including the grotto used by monks for prayer. Rooms come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. The bathroom has a hairdryer and free toiletries.
