Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Location
The city of Soller is approx 5km away. A supermarket can be reached after around 400m. It is only 200m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Serra de Tramuntana (approx 4km away), Valldemossa (approx 25km away) and Banyalbufar (approx 38km away). For mobility there is a car rental company. Palma Airport is approx 40km away.
The port, with its sandy beaches, restaurants and gift shops, can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Local attractions include a 25-minute ride by historic tram to Sóller, the town’s botanical gardens, and Can Prunera Museum of Modernism. An hour-long train journey through the mountains to Palma should not be missed.
As a Unesco Heritage site, the Tramuntana Mountains are ideal for hiking and cycling while there is an abundance of water sports offered in the port. The famed village of Deia – erstwhile home of English poet Robert Graves, 20 minutes away by road – is a must visit.

The outside area of the Mediterranean-style hotel includes one fresh water pool. Here, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas where applicable, for a fee available. Refreshing beverages can be consumed directly at the pool bar.
Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Meals:
Renowned international restaurant brand Neni, the brainchild of Tel Aviv-born Haya Molcho and her sons, offers a moreish mix of Middle Eastern and Israeli cuisine. With its long wooden dining tables and enough low-slung plants to rival the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the restaurant has a warm and relaxed ambience. An expansive, covered terrace overlooking the pool below, with views to the port, is perfect for alfresco dining. Winning dishes include hummus and pitta bread (€8 [£7]), popcorn falafel with lime and sesame dip (€12 [£10]) and chicken shawarma with squashed potatoes, garlic sour cream and herb salad (€19 [£17]). Inspired desserts such as Sesame (€8 [£7]) which combines sesame halva with raw Tahini and muscovado ice cream are hard to beat.
A buffet breakfast of fruits, cereals, yogurts, pastries and breads is served between 7am-11am. Fresh orange juice and a small selection of cold cuts and cheeses is brought directly to the table, while egg dishes are made to order. The pool bar, Pikkini, serves drinks and snacks 12pm-6pm, while the atmospheric Donkey Bar serves creative cocktails, with a grand piano for aspiring musicians.

In the mature and pretty gardens, there is an outdoor pool sporting a tongue-in-cheek peace sign, and extensive solarium with raffia parasols. A car park is situated in front of the property where several Mercedes Benz convertibles can be borrowed free of charge during your stay.

Five of the eight suites are located in the main building and three in the separate Bay House, where rooms are larger in size. All suites – as well as double rooms – have mountain or sea views and include terrace or balcony and hammock or daybed. The stylish and simply decorated rooms have a wood cabin feel, with turquoise wall panels and emblematic peace signs on the ceilings. Cheeky bed linen is inscribed with the dictum ‘make love not war’; incense burning sticks and candles are provided on the desk.
A beach bag with straw hat and wraps is a nice gesture, as is the Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary capsules. A minibar, television tastefully masked by a wall hanging, Bluetooth speaker and air conditioning are included. Bathrooms are small but have excellent rain shower and large bottles of quality ILoveEcoEssential body products, as well as waffle cotton robes.
