  • The Club House at the Sol Río de Luna y Mares invites you to enjoy its varied daytime and evening activities programmes, including children’s entertainment. During the day the Club House offers different activities in the pool and on the beach, towels and games, volleyball, water gym, water polo, water basketball, diving classes for beginners in the pool and aerobics. Evening entertainment every night of the week.
• Beach
  • Spacious and beautiful beach with a relaxed and serene atmosphere. The water is rich in fish life and is ideal for snorkelling. Located 50 metres from the hotel, Playa Esmeralda –as it is called – is exclusively for the use of Meliá guests. It has shallow, crystal clear waters and white sand. The beach measures 800 m long and there is a coral reef 10 metres from the shore which protects the beach from large waves. There are shady areas, palm trees, sunshades, sunbeds, bathrooms, bar and lifeguard, towels and games at the Club House.
• Pools
  • The Sol Río de Luna y Mares has 3 fresh water pools, one in the Luna area, the other in the Mares area, and the third in the wellness center with a hydromassage. The pools at the Luna and Mares areas have areas for children and paddling pools, and a maximum depth of 1.60 m. They are large and surrounded by palm trees and lush vegetation, prefect for relaxation and family fun. The hotel provides a wide range of activities, including diving classes for beginners, shady areas, sunbeds, sunshades, relaxing palapas, bathrooms, lifeguard, changing rooms, bar, towels and games at the Club House. The pool at the wellness center is smaller than the other two and is also surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, prefect for tranquillity and relaxation. It offers sunbeds and sunshades.
