Fuerteventura Travel Guide
If life is getting just a little too busy for you and you want to step off the merry go round for a while and just kick back and relax then there is no better place for you than Fuerteventura. As the quietest and most laid back of the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura is not suited for those who want to party the night away and sleep in the morning but is perfect for those who are desperately seeking a beach, a book and a break.
Offering fantastic weather, a warm welcome and all the things a weary traveller could possibly require, Fuerteventura is a great holiday destination.
For those culture vultures amongst you there are two things that may be of interest. The first is the American Star, a ship wreck right there for the viewing which can be viewed in detail by boat excursion. Be warned it can look a little weary but it’s definitely something you don’t get to see every day. The other thing you may want to put on your list of things to see is the oldest cave in the Canary Islands, which at a million years old, is perfect for those impressive holiday snaps.
More common place days but no less exciting can be found in Fuerteventura in the way of relaxing days spent on the beach, complete with exciting water sports, a round of golf on the links, horse riding, fishing or just a good old credit card bashing shopping trip. Either way there are plenty of things to do in Fuerteventura which will keep everyone happy and fulfilled during their holiday.
